I think it would have been far better if the media had allowed COVID-19 to pass without anybody noticing or caring. Just like with the 1957 and 1968 flus, which per capita were both actually worse than COVID-19.
Not only would the world economy be better, but there would be less deaths too.
Many of the excess deaths from coronavirus are because the media has scared people with heart disease, cancer, etc. away from going to the hospital. Those deaths are basically the media’s fault.
