Has anyone here ever built a gyrotron from scratch?
Is it dangerous for health to try to use it to heat plasma at the electron cyclotron resonance frequency? Does it produce gamma rays etc? How can I protect myself? Putting everything in a concrete walled room and piloting from a distance is a good idea?
