You are clearly not very familiar with Darwin's work. Social Darwinism has very little to do with the man himself, and Darwin's views of evolution included cooperation.
Examples are obvious and have been for a long time now. Symbiosis and domestication being the most obvious. It's perfectly possible for sexual selection and evolutionary pressure to select for cooperation, and indeed that is what early humans did to wolves and to each other.
