They honestly should have studied the virus more and see what portions don’t change and they should have targeted that in the vaccine instead of a surface protein in fact surface proteins are notorious for mutations so it’s really irresponsible and short term of them to focus on surface proteins . Also they are lazy cuz they knew surface proteins were easy to get the genome for
