I did a 4yr meme degree in engr.
then I continued to a masters in physics because it was completely paid for and I thought why not do 1.5 extra year before my Phd and get the classes done.
I came down with a neurological condition in my last year of bachelors which I still deal with today. My neurologist says there is nothing he can do. I just keep having epilepsy and stroke symptoms which he wants to treat with psycho pills.
All that I read now is neuroscience text.
I've lost all interest in my physics research (acoustic waves and metamaterials), only enough to publish every 3 months for the past 9 months.
I want to do neuroscience. Is this goal even feasible? I already have a 4year deg in material science and engineering. Neurologist study minimum 12 years according to google, doesn't seem too late right?
I need to do this to save myself. This has consumed my existence.
