at the most fundamental level I think it's safe to assume that everything just appears, even if there is some kind of god he would also have to appear out of nowhere, so maybe our assumptions of time and cause and effect are completely wrong and are just models our brain creates for us to survive, forget common sense and embrace the madness and dispair that we will never make real sense of the universe even if we know how everything works
