Why do people go outside during a pandemic when there are gigantic virtual worlds they can download and explore at the click of a button?

Those virtual worlds are manifestly created by people diametrically opposed to me. After I get done lifting weights not only do I feel good but I also get to keep these gains. After I play videogames I'm disappointed with how I spent my time on a game that was made substandard to older games regardless. I'd rather shoot guns and work on cars even. When I have to kill time inside I can work on the list of books I want to read. Thats just me though.

Some have decent multiplayer populations.

Some of these don't have singleplayer, or stories but most do have immense worlds that can easily sink 10+ hours at a time.
Some of these games have devoured 100+ hours of my time.

I honestly feel bad for the guys. I miss the days of PC exclusives like Stalker, which has great graphics to this day.

are you a consolefag? The game on PC looks better than 99% of anything on the market rn. They obviously had to castrate it on consoles, otherwise it won't run. Don't blame the game when the consoles are the bottleneck.

Open world games have always been shit in consoles not just in cyberpunk bc most games dont use the cpu that much so consoles have underperforming cpus to cut down cost of production for better margins and better prices compared to an actual pc.
Tbh if ppl still buy consoles after the ps3 and xbox 360 ring of death fiasco its theyr fault
