elementary particles are just vortex interactions within a liquid medium comprised of incomprehensibly smaller parts. empty space is just a placid state in the medium, and photons are simply generic waves.

the particles are not technically comprised of anything, they are simply a state of interaction. for a particle to move, it has to propagate it's state through the medium via interaction with the medium, which limits its movement based on the size and complexity of the vortex pattern. photon waves being simple waves are the simplest, and therefor fastest, means of propagation.
