If you get closer to a black hole "gravity is stronger" (gravity is not a force, is just bending of the spacetime, the time flows forward and objects converge to the center of the bending when they move forward on the time axis of the spacetime)
So if the gravitational field is big enough, you will have theoretically an "event horizon".
If you reach a point where the escape velocity of the gravitational field is greater than the speed of light, THERE the event horizon is created.
If you stay into a place where the gravity is strong enough, the flows SLOWER (like in Interstellar movie)
If you touch the hipotetical event horizon, the time is asitotically FROZEN.
To create stronger gravitational fields you need mass, mass must converge into the center, converge is a movement, movement is continuative, and phisically it needs time (that is nearly frozen when gravity is strong)
So, there is NO TIME for a Black Hole to be CREATED, because strong gravity freezes the time.
Black holes are black not because no light, but because the light is redshifted to long wave radiation (that we can't see)
