Blender reeks of death. Internet wants me to use a vinegar-baking soda solution to clean it by mixing it and leaving overnight, but I am afraid it'll eat away at the plastic bottom where the blades are mounted, because as a child I was sick when chemistry was introduced during school and I never bothered to catch up on it.
