Give it to me straight lads. Why hasn’t anybody tried to put their brain in a robot body?

It seems like we have the technology to do it right fucking now. Scientists can keep a disembodied brain alive just by feeding it nutrients and oxygen. That’s literally one step away from putting it inside some Boston dynamics robot. Then read the brain outputs to control the body, which again is already possible.

Why hasn’t this been attempted yet?
