Especially in young populations not at risk otherwise from covid.
Some people with history of allergic reactions ended up hospitalized day 1 and the guidelines changed to exclude them from vaccination campaign.
All good for those who have a known history of serious allergies, but the govs are looking to mass vaccinate people of young ages too, that includes people who have tendencies for allergic reactions but no documented history of it. Especially as the second dose is proven to be significantly more likely to give severe reactions.
As I see it(and I'm an MD, so this is not bullshit idle speculation of a layman) it's not a question of IF we get a death from this vaccine but when. And most likely this will be someone young who have virtually zero risk from covid itself.
We should vaccinate the elderly first, and then we can stop, take a good long look at the statistics of covid deaths, and if there's nothing alarming in the numbers then we should simply stop mass vaccinations by then because there's no point to it.
