If by increasing IQ you mean increasing your score in IQ tests, yes. The tests are.made by humans that use atandars techniques so once you get used to the type of "puzzle" it becomes easy.

so basically those sqaures pop up in a sequence and you have to recall the order once the sequence has been finished. this improves your working memory which is closely correlated to fluid IQ.

I've tried it for a few weeks at a time. I found it exhausting, and it actually seemed to hurt my performance elsewhere. Ultimately I decided I'd be better off just expending my mental energy on something that I knew I'd benefit from as opposed to something that might benefit me. I think people who legitimately have ADHD or attention problems may get a nice boost from it, but I doubt the average person gains much from the time invested.

Only if you literally have no concentration skills at all

Heres an analogy, this is like couch to 5k. An untrained person can now perform a task a normal person should be able to do already. It won't help someone that is already an athlete.

focus and attention is underrated. when i did an IQ test (with other applicants) for the military it was serious enough that my focus and attention was a lot better than usual. i think if your brain isn't didn't have perfect developmental years then its default will not be nearly as good as the right conditions can bring out of it.

you're sort of arguing past each other. the other anon is saying you can study to improve your IQ score, and therefore the IQ test is not perfectly accurate. You're saying that there is a limit to how well an individual can do on an IQ test no matter how much they study. These two concepts are not mutually exclusive.
