>>12474122The reason why the beta/alpha observation in human behavior entered the popular consciousness is because a study was made on wolf behavior in captivity. Scientists realized that the wolves would form hierarchies with alphas at the top and betas at the bottom.
PUAs caught wind of this and incorporated the beta/alpha dichotomy as applied to human relations and dating.
What they ignored is that the wolves being studied were in captivity.
The behavior of wolves in the wild was radically different. The packs were more like families than strict hierarchies like the captive wolves.
That's because putting animals in closed environments increases aggression. Same shit with the rat utopia experiment, when you put them in a cage with no predators they inevitably become aggressive and start fighting amongst themselves.
Animals were never meant to live in cages and neither were humans.
Living like soi insects in overcrowded cities alters and deforms normal behavioral patters.
We must definitely return to monke and our behaviors will return to normal, similar to our bonobo cousins.
