Id add a full size NMR, ICP-MS, LC-MS-MS, to my chemistry lab. Get a flow chem set up and prep HPLC as a "chemical printer" system. I'd also like a cryocooler, some -80C fridges, a new HPLC, and a new fume Hood.

I'd also get a metal 3D printer, an XRD, and if I'm really rich, a pool type research reactor with hot cell for making isotopes. Lastly I'd like a 1GeV deuterium LINAC for making isotopes I can't make in the reactor.

I... might also need a bigger lab. Ideally in a salt mine and with a fancy decor, so I can be cave Johnson IRL.

An AFM, a HR-TEM, a whole suite of 3D printers, tube furnace, and a fume hood. That side of the lab would be mostly for developing new additive manufacturing techniques (I've always wanted to see a good method of printing glass).
The other side would use the AFM, TEM, tube furnace, and some other electeical equipment to occasionally work on superconductors. Mostly for fun.

Cell culture hood, incubator, bead based heat bath, bioreactor, plasmid synthesizer, optical table \w good lasers, flourscence microscope that can do sub diffraction limit correlation, table top centrifuge and ultra speed, HPLC-MS, acoustic systems, auto fabricator (metal 3D printer would probably be great here), -80 freezer, growing room with all the bells and whistles. Computer cluster to heat the rooms

That would keep me busy for awhile.

Based. But I could probably put beamilines on the reactor for neutron diffraction. I really should build an x-ray tube and try getting patterns and fluorescence off it though. That seems like a reasonably easy project.

I'd make a rotating artificial gravity space station. Preferably large enough for humans, but if it needs to be small, I'd study smaller beings using a smaller station at a quick rotation speed.

I would try to detect particles that do not interact with anything this universe is made of. Everything we know exists interacts with us in some way, via gravity, or charge, or whatever, but there is no reason to assume that is all there is. There could be entire universes of stuff sitting right on top of us that we just don't interact with in any way. I would focus on trying to detect such stuff. The research would mostly be materials science, building sensors, trying to find some materials that will interact with these foreign particles in some way.
