Avoiding asking a question to pretend like you don't not understand something is the stupidest possible approach to learning. Every time I post a question on StackExchange five crying frogs appear on /sci/ like it means I'm retarded if my question has an obvious answer. What's really retarded is having a question and not asking it. Have you ever seen a math prof not make an error on the blackboard in a class? More likely than once a semester, they do it in every single class and use the eraser to fix it. It's normal and it has nothing to do with anything. It's like how the student says, "Dr Professor, shouldn't there be a minus sign?," and the prof says, "Yeah thanks," except I have no one to raise the issue and I have to post the question. Leaving the error up there, however, to avoid having to admit you made an error is the real retarded behavior.
The LRAD went off about five times while I was typing that.
