It's just an optimization problem, you have a volume is a founction of surviveablity, surviveability is most likely a function depending of the comsposition of air (percentages or gases breathed constantly), humidity, temperature, water and food. If you freeze everything, you may end up only needing oxigen or nothing at all, maybe just some solution you can inject into your bloodstream or some other shit like that which can bring you back to life (not taking muscular fuck ups from indefinite sleep).

I'd say you dont even need a containter, just a layer of protective film to keep you from shattering and heat.

The first priorities are air and temperature.
If you have those then you need water or you won't last more than 3 days.
Then you need food, waste disposal.
With enough of that you could live years, even if you would probably kill yourself before long.
Realistically we can think about air filtering, a power unit, some dried food and water and diapers for a week or two.
The dimension required wouldn't be bigger than a very small submarine.

You die from lack of air in few seconds. It will take few days/weeks to die from lack of food/water.

Air > Temp > Water > Food > Shelter > Radiation > Comforts.
