well I'm not going to read the specifics of this test to see if there's a control. I'm not sure if that information is even available.

You can put controls in the same tube, no extra work. Common human DNA markers you'd get from a cheek swab would replicate like Covid DNA would and ID samples with no human DNA or failed PCR.

I didn't mean the cheek swab tube, I meant you'd need a second PCR master mix with primers for the human positive control. You can't run two PCR's with different primers in the same tube if you want reliable results

Sure you can, we do it all the time. Need to match template lengths and etc for good results but it's definitely possible.
