>>12471170That's not what I said at all. So long as you aren't specifically studying to improve at IQ tests, they're a decent measure of intelligence. Nothing else will have a major effect on your score (meanwhile, learning anything has the potential to improve your trivia abilities). I'm not advocating for IQ tests, knowing your IQ is meaningless. Whether you're intelligent or stupid, knowing your IQ won't change that, you've gotta work with what you have. But if you do want to know what you're working with, and you haven't been taking IQ tests repeatedly and searching for methods to solve the questions, then a professionally administered test should give you a decent measure of your intelligence.
