Not trying to be edgy, but why the fuck are we freaking out about old people in care homes dying? They have SHIT quality of lives. Most of them have dementia, those that don't wish they were dead anyway because family rarely ever visits, only maintaining contact to keep the inheritance secure.
My mums partner had a stroke and caught covid from a home, he is fucked now because it totally derailed his rehab. He might as well be dead. Can't read, can barely speak or think, can barely move from being bedbound. Is too old (80) to make any recovery. He probably wishes covid finished him off.
