Yes, you're being overly concerned. Not because there's zero risk with zero types of plastics, but because life is full of micro-risks. Things where risk of a rare cancer goes up a few percent, or where there are conflicting studies, and so on. You could compile hundreds of these risks and making hundreds of tiny sacrifices in your life. But all of those risks combined could be offset by something as simple as driving a bit less, or walking a bit more every day, or eating just a few calories less a day.
