Honestly? Depends on the mistake. If it’s the kind of careless mistake that comes from not understanding the material then you have a bigger issue... if it’s just the occasional dumb algebraic/sign/etc mistake we all make those. If you’re proving things for the first time and make mistakes in your argument those are of the sweetest kind— they teach you the most.
