I’ve just had a thought

It’s been proven that quantum superposition can actually affect physical objects, two cloned salmonella bacteria were introduced to different environments, one with milk and the other one without.
The one with milk was recorded to have produced the proteins to process it, the one that didn’t have milk didn’t. This is significant bc they proved it was a result of quantum uncertainty in the genes of the bacterium, not it reacting to the milk after it was put in the environment.
So, you could combine this with parts of quantum computing hardware that can alter the wave function of a particle without collapsing it, and you could create in theory a material that can react to its surroundings instantly based off some sort of passive input.
