If you are looking to get social points for a good IQ score, then no, as the goal is to convince people you are smart. If you are looking to test your actual capacity based on a the needed ignorance of the test taker, then yes, as you sullied yourself by studying how to get a high score. A lot of people who say they scored high on their IQ tests (waisv, sb, etc), studied, and pass it off as organic.
A good indicator to how intelligent you actually are or will become are childhood scores. Even though your adult IQ will likely be a bit lower, the openness of the child makes it so you score more true to yourself.
Most people take IQ tests to validate themselves, and be validated by society. It's not cheating if this is your goal, but don't pretend it's objectively true. IQ tests are just estimations, anyway.
