>>12461386The spirit world isn't real, you just experienced psychosis. Psychedelics that have vivid visual hallucinations like DMT change your perceptions enough to where your mind can only operate symbolically which is what you saw.
OP, Nootropics are the class of substances and treatments that you want. There are ways of using DMT and LSD that act as a Nootropic and it's different from how someone would use it recreationally.
Racetams are interesting but they don't work for everyone. There's no consensus on them yet but some preliminary studies are promising.
A bit of advice when analyzing studies for your needs; critically think about how they make the sample population. Often, substances have very different effects on different people or sometimes none at all. There are hidden factors in a sample that decide which substances work for who but given a random sample that doesn't adjust for these hidden factors, the study will conclude that the substance is similar to placebo. This is because studies test a substance on the effectiveness for everyone and subsequently all pharmaceuticals follow suit. If a substance only works for some people, the science will conclude it doesn't work at all. In the early stages of research, experiments cannot capture this nuance. Eventually, they uncover the hidden factors. This is where we can find value but potentially significantly harm ourselves because we're volunteering to be lab rats.
I can personally claim that Nootropics have some effect on me but I don't have enough evidence to claim what exactly it is. However, I can claim that racetams reduce the risk of harm in experimentation as they've been proven to not be neurotoxic even in high doses.
I'll end with advice to stay away from stimulants but caffeine is okay.
