See where you have your "1000"?
You need to start with "1", write down the answer, then "2", write it down, "3", "4", etc. Keep writing each new answer down directly under the previous, in a column. Fax me the list once you've written down at least 2^20 terms.

No, most sums for pi converge extremely slowly, as in going up to 1 million just for 5 digits.

Euler's proof for the 1/n^2 series used an accelerated convergence method.

HEY GUYS I MADE A MUCH BETTER APPROXIMATION
but desmos won't let me test is further than 84 partial sums.
I decided to solve the integral fist and then take the series of that function over the interval.
