you can tell the game was trash.
I couldn't get past the gameplay very much.
a lot of video games are just interactive movies with an illusion of choice, and I really hate them, especially with heavy cutscenes, boring dialog, and honestly I hate the MC talking.
I love skyrim because it's an expansive immersive world, a world, not a shitty film. it's fucking fun.
and I like monster hunter because it's a game of strategy, planning, and skill. You will NOT get to hr 999 and an ultra crown if you're a shitty player that doesn't give a fuck about skills, preparedness, and strategy.
I love monster hunter so much, I'm part of a private discord with my MHGU friends, sometimes we'll talk serious strategy for icing some baddies.
and we help each other out. it's a community of cool people, but it's also niche so it's not full of cringetard normietards.
except sadly after world (a shit fest of a game) it became a normie series and now they're trying o appeal to the money not the fans that started them.

MHGU was the last true monster hunter game, that's why it was so fun. though I'm upset there weren't enough monsters, it was a treat for the fans.
