This is something I've been curious about for almost a year.
I turned 21 almost a year ago so my Mom got me a bunch of little alcohol tasters. Hated every single thing in there except for the whisky.
Neither of my parents like whisky but they did tell me that both of my biological grandfathers can't get enough of whisky.
This got me to thinking if it's possible that the type of alcohol you like is determined by genetics. Genetics are 50% responsible for the development of alcoholism.
Haven't found any answers besides genetics relating to alcoholism.
