>>12464807shuttup it's a meritocracy. I posted my IQ on 4chan, then I saw an ad on my phone for this big thinktank place. Was creeped out. Quit my job as a pest control technician, and now I'm paid high base salary laden with incentives.
The future will still be moated. There will be a market for augs (just like there is for things like PEDs, nootropics, drugs, plastic surgery, veblen goods etc...). There will be aug'd celebs... Another factor will be who does NOT have the bad augs, or who is able to remove or disable the nanotech. If a populace all has tech that gives data, allows money, stimulates things like norepinephrine, dopamine, seratonin, safety coma, even death, - then any so-called meritocracy of the populous is more like a harrison bergeron scenario than a bunch of awesome cyborg transhumans
