It's amazing how hundreds of years ago we came up with a method that validates our scientific understanding of the world and it still holds up to this day.

Most science is actually not done with the scientific method. It's really more of a general outline than a rule.

Do you realise that you are glorifying circular logic and that no system is capable of validating itself because it is logically impossible? Some maths dude proved it over a hundred years ago.
