Second of all, the human brain has a very common feature with Ram memory, it can only store memory under current.
Take away the current and you lose all of the stored memory, you freeze the body then the chemical process in our body that creates the current gets interrupted and it's insta death.
ofcourse there are amphibian&insects who can freeze up in winter and then rethaw in spring who still function normally.
But there is discussion on these situations that they just run on instinct and are not "remembering".
