now you have a new triangle with known angles and two known side lengths.
solve for the remaining side length.
Use that to get the triangle's area.
subtract that from the circle's area

triangle medians have the ratio 2:1. so the height is 18+9=27. that's an equilateral triangle and dividing it in two gives you a 30-60-90 triangle.
the rest is left as a trivial exercise for OP.

Is this high school geometry? You can break the central triangle into 4 triangles, like a triforce, then use the radius as a division point to make the top triangle into two right angle triangles. From there you have all angles and a side, so you just do basic trig to get the area of the whole central triangle, and subtract it from the area of the circle. There's probably a better way to do it, but I haven't done this shit in over 10 years.

r = 18 cm
theta = 180/3 = 60'
hypotenuse = 18
r*cos(0.5*theta) = 0.5 a

the triangle is made up of 3 equilateral triangles with sides 18, 18, ? and angles 30° (the line is dividing a 60° angle), 30°, 60°. Now cut it into two right triangles and solve for ?/2, and that's pretty much it.

Get one side, you now have all sides of the triangle. You already know the radius of the circle. Difference of circle minus full triangle. You can get the full triangle length by forming a right angle triangle extending the radius length segment provided. Apply Pythagorean theorem. Get full length. Bob's your uncle.
