the most technically challenging parts (3 engine run with multiple relights, switching from main tanks to header tanks, the flip manuver etc) of the test yesterday went better than expected, which is why theyre saying it was an overall success. the reason for the crash was a lack of pressure in the header tank which caused the engines to fail, which is a relatively easy fix for spacex

It was a test flight, the rocket went through the most harrowing part of the flight without issue, and SpaceX gathered a wealth of data from it. Seems successful to me
