That's the sticking point. We aren't quite there yet. You'd still need a decent number of humans to maintain your human-less facility.

The robots need to be able to reproduce themselves.

Space industry may unironicaly drive the creation of such an infrastructure, since labour is a very scarce resource in outer space.

We do already have bits and pieces, factories and stores have a stock system that should track every item, but it is not 100% accurate due to things like theft, breakages, etc. Amazon has robots that bring stock to the wagies in their cagies. There are factories were large portions of a product is made solely by robots now, e.g. car and electronic equipment factories, but the fiddly bits and bits that need on-the-spot thinking/judgement are all still done by humans. Self driving trucks are being tested in places like mines, but are not developed enough to go on the public roads yet. Many machines can do self-diagnostics, but still need a human to fix them.

Give it a few more decades.

is the hardest part
Because packages come in all shapes and sizes and may be of different weights, robots can only be programmed for simple tasks right now and if something is the wrong size it all falls apart, also different truck manufacturers have different quirks on the lifting gate at the back of their trucks which a human could easily figure out but a robot would be stumped with

yeah you can't really do a fully automated factory without both a fully automated supplier and customer, or at least adherence to a standard that lets them integrate with it.

something tangentially related is open source automated manufacturing, both the machines and blueprints, so that anyone can create their own factory that you just provide input and output too. If something like that comes to reality the pressure for automating the in and out side increases and someone may fill the gap

automatically ordering materials and then automatically processing them are the most achievable (and financially practical) at the moment. At some point, everything besides maintenance bots will likely be common. I don't foresee having fully automized maintenance until we are nearing fully automated luxury space communism.
