I spent years working to get a graduate degree in wireless comms and finally landed a good job as an electrical engineer. You know what though? I hate it. It's an endless grind of reading technical literature and dealing with infinitely complex systems. Signal processing and wireless comms are just too dense and bland for enjoyment. The only satisfaction I get is that I work on "cool technology", but it just isn't worth it.

I should have become a programmer, because then I could at least go home and make video games or something. Instead I have to deal with this crap.
