Why is everyone so obsessed with science but not the philosophy of science? Practically everything in science must follow the scientific method including cause and effect but this isn't the lens people view science as. Academia is purposefully being ignorant on this subject, they don't teach you the scientific method until mid high school and even then it's only for experiments which rarely happen, majority of it teaches hard facts to regurgitate and x figure discovered y fact instead of the cause and effect of that fact
