>>12436182I'm in the same boat as you brother. One small trick is mentally telling yourself what your going to do then counting down from 5 to zero then doing it. Sometimes it actually works and sometimes it doesn't. Probably, what's worked for me is creating situations or environments where its impossible to not shirk work either by setting up designated work/study time with friends, setting up an accountability buddy(not as hard as you would think, a lot of people struggle with getting stuff done, just not to the extent as Adhd'ss), and finally making sure you have a very clear separation between work and play time. That's critical. Building a space where your brain defaults to always work mode is one of the best things you can do, NEVER PLAY IN WORK SPACE. Its hard, and you'll screw up a lot, but that's what your accountability buddies are for.
