While it is true that IQ and happiness are positively correlated in the range of 80-130, there is a drop between 130-145.
Funnily enough, IQ and happiness are once again linked after around 145, according to most major studies on the topic. I suppose it makes sense. It is highly likely for twice exceptional individuals to come from rich/supportive families. Of course, there are exceptions, but magnet schools harboring 150+ kids are usually the happiest of all.
So yeah, there definitively is a drop, which if I were in a shitpost mood, would call the "midwit" drop, where the 130-145 individual is acutely aware of just how impotent they are compared to the supremely intelligent.
