Have you ever noticed how much human behavior is organized along the same lines as the sexual template? Take a fireworks show. There is the lead in to the set and setting, people gather together to experience it. Starts off, changes of pace and a bit of variety along the way, builds to a finale, ends with a bang, fizzles out, and then people either disperse or leave together, calm, having bonded through the shared spectacle. You see it in story arcs, workflows, even the flow of conversations. In particular, interacting with needy, passive aggressive, hypersexualized / sexually frustrated people follows the same cycle. Perhaps it is all simply because the same parts of the brain control sexuality and aggression, thus dominance and submission, that which penetrates and that which is penetrated, projecting force, predation, and so on, also follows this quasi-sexual template.
