Don’t really know if this is a \sci/ question but I’ll ask it.

So in Wartime when an organization decides to sell products(arms, food, engines etc) to both sides, how exactly do they make money from the losing team? Like if Germany has worthless brrr money nearing their defeat then all that paper is useless to the organizations right?
