My brother had anxiety and OCD, at least that's what the psychiatrist said, he got prescribed sertraline, he often took it irregularly and now he stopped, he often behaves badly, he does normal stuff like being messy and not cleaning the kitchen etc, but when hes confronted by my parents he often explodes and gets aggressive, sometimes in an exaggerated way, like he tells them he'll kill them and tries to fight my father on more rare occasions, he also stays up till 4am and then sleeps till 1pm, is it possible that the meds he got prescribed fucked him up in some way?

Btw some examples of what he did: he used to call my parents when they were out because he had fears that they were dead, he did that often, it sounds stupid but he believed it(that was before the meds, and one if the reasons be started taking it), he also got anxious af, really anxious, about small stuff, like if he a classmate told him "yo did you smoke something" jokingly, he would get paranoid because he was scared people at school thought he did drugs and would cry for that(also before meds), or some weeks ago he was seriously concerned because he read on the internet about the philosophical concept of solipsism, so he was scared that he was the only one that was real and all the others around him were a creation of his mind(that's after meds).

At this point my parents often have exasperated reactions to him because his annyoing/aggressive behaviours have gone on for some months now, so they're starting to "hate" him, and he's often an asshole to them to be fair.

So is it possible that the meds had some strange effects on him? (Sertraline)
