Scientifically speaking, what makes this woman so intriguing? The more I saw her picture, the more clear it was that I simply did not understand. It's like she exists within a logical blind spot in my mind. It's not androgyny, it's not neoteny, she is not masculine nor is she really feminine in the typical sense. She is aesthetically pleasing and attractive yet uninteresting at the same time. She is cute but in a frustrating way. And right along, despite these many contradictions, there is a lack of a clear repulsion.

How can this be? It's like some sort of alien illusion that short circuits my brain.
