>>12428962I'm not sure about true-rng but most devices are made with common electronics parts that can be easily inspected. The only problematic part would be the IC which is often ubiquitous and could be bought elsewhere and soldered in for the paranoid.
Really what anyone should be doing is XOR'ing entropy from these devices with other rng sources. The result will be a strong as the best source.
