Jogging probably causes minor brain damage, in the same way as head-banging at rock concerts, every step take pounds against the cement and sends a vibration up your noggin' likely dislocating and tearing the fabric of your brain in subtle ways. Of course exercise in general usually makes you smarter, but you can always ride a bike or swim.
