I enjoyed parasitology, it was one of the more "fun" stuff to study. I personally haven't seen that much of them, just the basics:
Ascaris lumbricoides, enterobius vermicularis, both of these in peds and one hydatid cyst in pulm.

i'd really like to see more independents from the med field actively trying to education the population.
journalism is dead and a lot of sources are politicized. a lot of the med language is just too convoluted relative to the standard populations understanding

either way, people are increasingly distrusting science, or blindly following dogma/corporate interests/whatever anyone with a badge says is correct.

i appreciate discussion with independents who don't represent profit or political motive, and just want to share info

Hungary has been doing this for a very long time. 30+ years.
They have absolutely no problem failing you and kick you out of the uni. Many move on to Romania or some of the other eastern europe country to finish their degree. I've never heard of anyone failing and coming to Hungary.

No. Based on my opinion of the graduates.

Obviously it's a bit warped by the geographical location, Finland, but the general path for a reject would look something like this.

>get rejected from finnish med schools
>try to get into sweden (not pay2win)
>try to get into germany (not pay2win) (pretty rare these days)
>try to get into the baltics starting from estonia and moving southwards
>try to get to central and eastern european schools
>try to get schools in the balkans
>accept defeat and go to romania
I really don't know the quality of the schools in Romania but people who go there (from here) are really the bottom of the barrel. They literally shill for romanian med schools on image boards here.

It's a combination of two things. First of all pretty much every foreign graduate (outside of swedistan) has a lot less clinical experience than Finnish grads. Hey guys, newfag(to /sci/, I almost exclusively post on sh/int/) here and I have a question.
So right now, I'm a 3rd year med student(not american so 6 yrs btw) and I'm feeling like starting an epidemiology research project(1st time doing that kind of thing) with some of my colleagues and publish it afterwards. However! There's something I'm anxious about. Should I e-mail one of my professors about the project and tell him and then my colleagues and I can produce a final manuscript and send it to him/her for some final professional editing or so then have our professor publish it under our names and his/hers too? Is something like that feasible or is (primary) research inaccessible to med students and is just a grad thing?
Any advice would be appreciated !!

Most of it is socializing through our studies, we talk to each other during our breaks in the libraries and on campus. Once in a while we go out for a beer, we eat out now and then, and at the start of every semester, we get shit faced and party once or twice. Compared to other fields of studies, we actually have quite tight-knit social bonds through our collective "suffering". It is like we are old war buddies.
