Science is a methodology for understanding the world around us, and discovering more about it.
The most basic tenants are rooted in reproducibility and precision.
As such, meticulous record keeping is used (at least when the science is good), to ensure that the experiment is reproducible by others.

Science and Philosophy are the same thing until the reniassance placed a divide claiming philosophy is for abstract and science is for emphirical

While they are not wrong, it's very misleading to think that they are different fields with different methodology

According to the guy I referenced yes. He is called Paul Feyerabend and specifically his book „Against the Method“. Most don’t know it, but that what many, if not most ordinary scientists espouse (Falsificationism) has been proven indefensible to those in the know, but there the agreements end.
