Op why are you making these type of threads? Is it some mad insecurity complex that forces you to pull up a list of "top ten unis in UK" and asking 4channers to compare them to US?

I'm sure it's not only me who is sick of "How's Cambridge compared to US" blah blah shit. It doesn't make for good conversation about science or maths.

The real solution is to apply for the hardest university you can get into and whose module you enjoy.

I'm currently in the US for college, but I got a conditional offer to Imperial back when I applied to undergrad. Their selection process was way more sane than in the US colleges. They actually tested if I was good in physics instead of asking for my race and how many dicks I sucked in honor societies like US colleges do. The conditional offer was also surprisingly tougher than Oxford (40/45 vs 39/45 in IB). I had a good look at their campus during the interview. Very nice place and students can actually have a pint after their studies (fuck the 21+ restriction in the US).
