Dad’s going in for triple bypass surgery today. Give it to me straight, what are the chances 1) he survives the surgery or 2) if he survives what are his chances post surgery?
He’s 72 and has had multiple heart attacks in the past. He has a stint (from 13 years ago). He’s a former smoker (only quit 2 years ago; may be lying to me about that).
In the past he was a heavy drinker (drunk every night) but claims to have been sober for 2 years. I doubt this.
