Why are some people so opposed to the more outlandish theories of origin and then turn around and completely ignore the fact that our best theory of the universe leads to literal, physical infinity?

Hey wait a second, how can you claim that THOSE theories of origin are too outlandish while at the same time you fully support and parrot inflation theory?

Shouldn't we be treating Inflation the same way we do those other unscientific theories?

Anything that leads to literal physical infinities is clearly a broken theory and shouldn't be taken seriously.
