>>12412725I was diagnosed with adhd as a kid and I'm the opposite. Been obsessed with tests ever since I was a kid and always scored in the 95th+ percentile in any standardized test. Test taking just flat out feels like the biggest adrenaline rush in the world to me. All the reward of countless hours of participation points, homeworks and labs in exchange for only a few minutes of fighting back against. In middle school I vividly recall taking the AMC 8 and tying for 3rd in the state at math just because I liked talking tests so much.
The opposite happens to me at home. I can't sit still and force myself to finish even the simplest easiest shortest assignments. Anything that requires me to work on my own time is just impossible for me to get done. I basically lived my entire life skipping homework and not studying only to ace exams and get away scott free.
